FAQ

Why?
Because it seems like fun. DoG Street Pub loves working with local businesses and loves giving people a reason to come to the pub. Great food is enough, we know, but a regular event that promotes health, camaraderie and Williamsburg is a no brainer. Short answer, why not?

Does it cost anything?
For you? Absolutely not.

Are the 5K runs timed?
Nope. Everyone is free to move at their own pace. DSPRC is non-competitive.

How do I get that amazing, exclusive DSPRC t-shirt?
The DSPRC t-shirt is only available to runners who have attended 5 DSPRC events. As of now, after your 5th run you get a free shirt. Owning a DSPRC t-shirt will be a symbol. of commitment, privilege & esteem.

Free? How is that possible?
DoG Street Pub is able to put all this together thanks to volunteers and our proud sponsors. Support DSPRC by supporting them.

A t-shirt? That’s it?
We believe DSPRC will be kind of a big deal which means we’ll be able to offer more & more and cooler & cooler items after further runs. Like jackets, hats, bottle openers and a free car after your millionth run.

Why meet at a Pub?
The club meets at the Pub because it provides a social environment that is more inviting, less intimidating and more social for the runners. Also, because beer.

Doesn’t drinking beer negate the positive effects of running??
Running negates the adverse effects of drinking beer. Running & drinking beer is far healthier than not running & drinking beer. BAM. Logic.
